CASTING SHADOWS is a multi-sensory, audio-video installation piece of comics that explore disability culture and the human experience. CASTING SHADOWS offers storytelling on multiple sensory levels (audio, visual and spatial), making this piece accessible to a wide variety of audiences. This talk will explore the process of making this project, including interviews, sound recordings, photography and original illustrations. CASTING SHADOWS will have its debut exhibition at The Jack Straw Foundation September 9- October 28, 2016.
