Sheila McMullin, a poet and editor of VIDA: Women in the Literary Arts, cites my work in her essay on comics and disability in the December 2015 issue of Word Gathering, a Journal of disability poetry and literature. Her essay also explores the work of cartoonists Andrew Godfrey, Georgia Webber. I know Sheila, Andrew and Georgia from the International Comics and Medicine Conference, which explores the intersection of graphic narrative and medicine.
